Will someone PLEASE tell me how to group certain songs/audio books together on the ipod in particular playing order!!!

And....how does one put audio books in the audio book category. In other words, they are in the "music" section, which would be ok with me if I could group them all together like at the beginning or end of the playlist instead of a couple of songs, a section of book, music, and more book.

It is driving me BO NA NAS!!!

But......................I can both CLEAR and CREATE a playlist quicker than the naked eye can catch.................

Help! sad

I have a Nano and I still do not have a clue how to add contacts to it!....LOL. I JUST figured out how to add pictures to it. So I know how frustrated you must feel.

I have a Nano as well....can you say CLUELESS???

It irritates me that it doesn't come with a manual, rather, one has to do all the searching/troubleshooting on the net. Grrrr......

Within your iTunes folder, you need to create a separate folder for your audio book files. Drag and drop your audio book files from wherever they are to this new folder.

Then bring up your iTunes, at the upper left corner, click "edit", then click "preferences"

Under the "General" tab, it will show boxes next to Movies, TV Shows, iPod games, Radio, Party Shuffle, Audiobooks, Podcasts, and ringtones. Click ONLY the boxes you want displayed on your iTunes page.

When you're done highlight what you want to show up, click "Okay". And on the left hand column of your iTunes, it should show which ones you clicked. If you added Audiobooks (and I'm hoping you did), click that, it will take you to the Audiobooks page of your iTunes.

This should be blank. Now, to add your audio book files, click "File" then click "Add Folder To Library". It SHOULD open your iTunes music folder... then just search for the previously created audio book folder where you dragged and dropped files earlier.. highlight it, and click "okay".

They should load instantly to your iTunes. From there, when you go to sync your iPod, and it brings up the iPod page in iTunes, click the "Audiobooks" tab. Sync it that way, you should be set.

BOL to you! (=
