Yes I recall the old testament sacrifices.

I absolutely agree with you on proof of guilt. I personally think they are guilty of, if nothing else criminal stupidity, but I hope that whatever comes of this, the decisions will be made based on what is best for the remaining children. If a lesson was learned & the chilren will now recieve proper care, splitting up the family would be of no benifit to anyone.

to do so would give the children to the state is that really best for the children

and how many children die doing other things that endanger them

should those things also be banned from their participation

the govt interferes to much already

I was saying that they should NOT be taken from the home as long as they recieve proper medical care from now on. I am not for more goverment interference, but there do have to be some limits as to what we as a society will accept. For example, riding a motercycle or horse with no helmet is your choice, but kids under 18 should wear one. Allowing your kid to shoot an apple off his sister's head, I think the government should stop that!

who is to say that they may have been given the wrong meds

you nor i know there history

it is not up to use to judge

if it goes to court that is the judges job and the juries is to advise the judge of how they feel he should rule

i just enjoy arguing both sides of an issue so much laugh laugh laugh

i do understand the wrongness of what happened to the child
but altho i feel it is wrong
i do not want the govt coming along and saying you have to
raise your child according to xyz standards

yes the child died and that is a bad thing

do you think the parents are happy about it

maybe it was her time to go no matter what treatment she would have received maybe she would have been killed in a collision on the way to get so called better care (how many lawyer commercials have you seen because of bad meds)

should are money say in doctors we trust

i think not

bad things happen even to good people

it is a shame

but a loss of an inalienable right will not fix it

you give away liberty at what cost

the many emotional arguments that are being presented are very compassionate

but if we use all these arguments then soon when a child is born it will be swept of to some govt housing ward to be raised
******properly*******is that what we want

be careful of your condemnations they just may come back to haunt you

Good to hear others views on this & think harder about my own.

I am certainly not for more government control, I am for education & people using common sense. The more people take care of themselves & stick up for thier rights, the less the government intervention will be accepted. I respect the rights of these parents& hope that the family stays together, but what about the rights of that little girl& her surviving siblings??

I am certainly not for more government control,

let's face it "Littleredhen" ..it you have balls the government owns them

I am for education & people using common sense.

people use common sense? ..."lttleRedHen" that is so funny ..er.. you know any other jokes ..

but what about the rights of that little girl& her surviving siblings??

I would refer to the book of "Job" in which to test "Job"'s faith God wiped out "Job's" entire family ..just because one child dies doesn't mean the parents have lost their faith in the healing powers of God ....God cures all and everything ..well except for amputees and Gigantism and a few other ailments
