Lex: There is a group of 7 or 8 women who go look at my profile every day. It doesn't matter if I've changed anything, added anything, whatever. They must go look. And not one of them has ever said a word to me. They don't post in the forums, either, and their profiles (yeah, I checked, it all got a little creepy after awhile) are all vapid and pointless.
It's like they have a little club. Well, every now & then, I'll re-look at the guys who have looked at me, see if I'm missing something, that they haven't contacted me even though they keep looking at me. It's like this big circle. And, honestly, I've gotten a little gun shy of writing to them due to past experience. Love of my life could be RIGHT UNDER MY NOSE. Need to get some jutspah, I guess!! |

I don't think there's anything wrong with going back and relooking. I just think it's weird when it's every day and then no one ever says anything. There are people -- primarily on my friends list -- whose profiles I will occasionally look at, just for possible updates into their lives and such. And I don't write to anybody first because I tried that before and never got a reply. People say, "Well you have to say more than 'Hi' or 'Nice pants' to get their attention" but I'm a writer -- if anybody can put together a reasonably coherent and amusing e-mail, it's me. Never did me any good, though, so now I figure if they want to talk to me they can send the first one. |

See, right now, the guy who has me on favorites is online, so I try to IM him and say HI, and ask why he has me on his favorites since we never spoke. I am being ignored.... What gives? Try to be direct, and he's being spooky!!

I dont think that I email because I dont say too much when I FIRST email.

I've emailed gentlemen who have expressed interest on the Mutual Match and was patently ignored on a few occassions. Starts to make a lady wonder if they are just voyeurs or creepers. 
That is true for me as well!!!!

Lol... Just to throw this in there... cause I'm a guy, and it's interesting... but, I have people on my favorites list that I've never talked to...
Maybe cause I haven't worked up the nerve... Maybe cause they're cool, but the situation isn't right for a dating sight.. lol. I don't really know... all I know, is that I do... I think it's somewhat like keeping a picture of a celeb... someone that you would like to meet, but to meet them and Not crash your hopes and dreams, is unlikely... so you never take that first step, you just leave them "perfect" as they are! So, blah blah blah... theres some more thoughts. FroznChild |
