I actually do feel alittle better from when it happened..I hopped upstairs and took a hot shower before..that was so nice!

Yes it will get better! Try to think about the positive aspects of your situation, when you are back up on your feet you'll get some things done!

i know how it is to be crippled i dropped a concrete block on my foot and broke 2 of the bones....

this just happened about 4 days ago!!

got my cast this morning! A black one this time since I have to wear it to work. Have to wear one for 6 weeks
 but in 2 weeks I get a walking cast..

what part of the foot did you break? I broke my right calcaneus in 2006...

Wow I am sorry to hear that .. I broke my right ankle, playing hockey , just below the outside BALL, as it where, and was in a walking cast for almost 12 weeks ... I wouldn't stay off it .. so take care and let it heal properly

It looked like a large SKI boot, with ballon like air bags inside to inflate , and I actually only took 2 days off work myself ..fot on desk for a week, then back out to work in the shop, on cars and trucks for my company ... so . myadvice is GO EASY , and keep it elevated

good luck ... the nicer you are to it in the beginning ??.. the sooner it will fully heal ... AND I was in my late 40's when I busted mine ..
