i have stopped even wondering why i am single since i am so picky it makes sense that nobody seems to meet the criteria

don't people tell you that all the time?? i have been struggling to get my grandma to accept that i am ok with being single and don't feel in any rush to get into a relationship right now and those are her typical responses to me plus my mom tells me that all the time too

don't people tell you that all the time?? i have been struggling to get my grandma to accept that i am ok with being single and don't feel in any rush to get into a relationship right now and those are her typical responses to me plus my mom tells me that all the time too

when i call my grandma its this routine regarding our conversations... her first question is to ask if i am dating anyone... then i tell her i am not really looking, focussing on career, etc... then she gives me her usual "it'll happen for you one day" and/ or be patient"... then she proceeds to launch into how wonderful my aunt's love life is, etc... after getting off the phone with her i just feel so drained that i am only able to call her like once every couple weeks used to call her more but it was making me too stressed

Yea I guess grandmas and moms can be that way. I miss my grandma a lot. She passed away March.1st and she was the best woman i have ever known. So patient and understanding no matter what i was going through. She had a heart of gold and it will be hard not having her there to talk with
