like "internet dating" is like a reality show? You know, the ones where they have the single guys/gals looking for love & marriage.. they go through this big ordeal & each week they eliminate one that they don't click with and in the end one remains..
This internet dating stuff, is starting to remind me of those reality shows

People choose internet dating for diffrent reasons. 4 yrs ago I endeda very abusive retationship that had lasted 14 yrs. When I decided I was ready to start looking again internet dating appealed to me becasue it wa safe, no one could hurt me thru a computer screen, Eventually I healed enuff to meet some people, and have made some life long friends. |

Yeah. And it's like those 'trainwreck' reality shows, like that lame-ass one with that dude who sings for Poison, too. It's not like a GOOD reality show. |

 I like this a lot more than reality shows, and most of the characters here are pretty funny on a consistant basis. A big plus? We can all communicate with each other, and it's a much larger show/audience!

Well I think it is on par with finding a new job. Both are disapointing and hard to accomplish.

I think you take out of it what you put into it.
Some (dare I say most) are truly emotionally unavailable, but still long for some human, romantic or flirtatious interaction. If you're on here to play (whether you know it or not), you will attract those who only want to play as well. It's just like any other facet of life...what you are willing to give, you will receive in return.

I think you take out of it what you put into it. Some (dare I say most) are truly emotionally unavailable, but still long for some human, romantic or flirtatious interaction. If you're on here to play (whether you know it or not), you will attract those who only want to play as well. It's just like any other facet of life...what you are willing to give, you will receive in return.
