Topic: easter dinner | |

ok... since its just me and my son (who is only 5)... I'm cooking a some dinner... ham (which i'll freeze most of it), cheesy potatoes, whatever canned veggie kido wants ... we have some apple pie for desert (store bought... and it pales in comparison to my homemade apple pie)..... so who's cooking dinner? Who's just eating? and who isn't doing any easter dinner?

The only thing I'm doing for easter is watching the NCAA tournament. I would love for someone to get me a easter basket, lol! Seriously some of those things are cool better than the chocolate bunny

Cooking up a storm for about 12 (family & friends). Ham, turkey, potatoes, stuffing, veggies, salad, all the usual fixings, with Boston Creme Pie for dessert. I really enjoy cooking, entertaining, and spending time with the people I love.
It's something my Mom always did, but I carry on the tradition of inviting at least one person I know doesn't have anywhere to go to share the day with us. It's always fun and people were kind enough to include me when I was going through my divorce and needed a place to land. I've come full circle, I guess. Plus....it's a nice way for singles to enjoy holidays too! Happy Easter! |
