It's a lonely life There are two paths But one I must follow It's a lonely life I see you there I must put aside all feeling It's a lonely life My blood runs cold Fear and discipline are all I know It's a lonely life I must never show remorse Though my heart rips in two It's a lonely life My soul does shudder For I can't cry and I can't weep It's a lonely life I was asked to write this by a dear sweet friend and I hope all will like it though you may not understand.

What I got out of the words from from this poem is to walk with God or walk alone. Excellent poetry writing!!

When I am alone I look in my heart sometimes what I see just tears me apart I have been a champion I have fought to protect my heart saddens as I reflect All life is precious all life has meaning why do some people have to hurt other's feelings If some could understand and see what I do They would realize the beauty in everyone too Oh I hang my head down I can't stand this you see my heart is cut to pieces because of the misery Please people let's come together let's establish a friendship that will last forever.. Daniel you are never alone God is there no matter what I too am there when all is done You've fought to protect others from pain Can't imagine what you've seen Would drive the average man insane You strive to do what is right You do your best to help others see Your entire life has been a fight I too see the beauty in life There has been pain and sorrow all around I still remember not all is strife Her I am with you taking my hand We've come together over time With you now I take a stand Forever is what you've asked We both know it won't be easy I'm ready now to take on this task
