Topic: infected piercing...

ok so i have had my nipples pierced for about 4 weeks now/ one is perfectly healed with no problem. but the other one i am starting to have a really hard time with. ive been doing everything that i have been told. using sea salt water and saline solution. the whole nine yards. does anyone know what to do? i cant find anything on google that i havent tried yet lol besides seeing the doctor of course

Welcome to the world of nipple piercings. There isn't anything you can do, go back to the person who pierced you. It's why I took mine out.

Ouch. Eww. Hope you don't plan on breastfeeding. Use peroxide and betadine, like you would on any other infected wound.

Before it gets worse, I'd go to your piercer and have him clean them. They have special cleaners, and it should heal about another week after that. But you have to get them seen. Have you been playing with them? That can cause irritation.

when mine got infected i used the warm sea salt soak once a day and cleaned with anti-bacterial soap and it just went away on its own.. i've had mine for almost 2 years now and they still get irritated from time to time

And taking out an infected piercing will trap the infection, that's what my piercer says..Do go back to who did the piercings and see what they have to say, I have my nipples done and below the belt..I used to have a vertical labret, lip ring, nose piercing three eyebrows, upper and lower navel and the back of my neck pierced three times....I used warm sea salt soaks and the sea salt spray sold at hot Topic for piercings....Good luck! I know the pain!

over cleaning can lead to irratation(also caused by bra) wich can lead to infection go back to the person that pirced you
