Topic: while america sinks Bush tap dances | |

Bush and his team are to blame, these folks are as well connected as they come and they repesent the the money interests to the detriment of america in general to them america is just a rescourse they can exploit and profit from and when the bowl is licked clean by them they then look at the rest of the hungry faces in the country and exclaim " its all you fault you know you should have seen this comeing and been born rich" What president isn't massively connected??? You don't think the Clinton White House didn't have connections? And "oh please" if you don't get that every administration on some level abuses power. It is the nature of power. But JFK took us to Vietnam (and LBJ continued to) FDR took us to WWII and last I checked both were Dems. Clinton himself fired weapons in to Iraq as little more than a diversion from the woman who was getting sore knees serving her president. I don't mind that you take Bush to task for what you view as a massive power grab. What I think is odd is that you do it in a vacuum ignoring a large part of history. Drew -Drew |

Because Senator Clinton voted for force to be used and she read the same intelligence data that GWB did. In other words, it was believed by a number of people. Vice President **** Cheney let fly with some harsh words Monday for members of Congress who oppose the Bush administration’s plan to splash out billions more on the Iraq war and who dare to support bringing the troops home soon. “When members speak not of victory but of time limits, deadlines and other arbitrary measures, they are telling the enemy simply to watch the clock and wait us out,” he said at a meeting of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
http://www.truthdig.com/eartotheground/item/20070312_cheney_chides_rivals/ this isnt the one Iam looking for if you cnt find it let me know as I will get back to this sometime this weekend but its good example of what is said when people do try to ut the funding |

please drew you and I both know all the lies that were told to the american people and congress by the Bush crime syndicate and in the hysterical environment after 911 verry few people could stop the gears of war once set in motion. please stop trying to hang the this around the necks of a congress that was controlled by the republicans. I also recall Cheney accuseing people of treasone who did not support the troops in a time of war......I will go google it for you
especially not when they made everyone out to be a terrorist if they weren't backing the president. |

And what source do you get this information from? What you are saying does not apply to the uninsured people that I know. They are working hard to put food on the table. Some even work two jobs. And what does that have to do with Bush. I guess as soon as he came to office he stole all their insurance. The economy has grown, just not as much as it has in the past. Bush also isn't in control of the housing market. It's supply and demand and right now its a buyers market. If it was a sellers market people would be complaining that housing was too expensive rather then , not getting enough money for your house. I don't understand people who actually think the president has all this control over so many factors. As for the soldiers... they are in the army. There job is to go fight for the country. Some are gonna die. Not saying that its not sad, but these guys know what they are signing up for. The mortality rate of this war is only like 4% for our soldiers. Look up other wars in history. They have way more deaths. People complain about how much money we are spending. That money is whats helping keep these guys safe while they do their missions. Truly valid point. Isn't amazing how those who bash GWB can't seem to make up their minds? On one hand he's the dumbest most moronic man ever to draw breath but on the other he's so clever that he alone has wrecked the nation, orchestrated the housing market collapse (no no, really, it wasn't the people who signed papers on ARMs they couldn't afford--wasn't their fault) fixed gas prices, on and on and on. Funny to me how seem to want it both ways. Good point man. Drew Hes a puppet, a front man. He makes, NO decisions, he is not the brains driving the machine. He's a dumb-ass! why else would anyone volunteer to be the poster child for this calamity. Okay,, money! (greed) What has happened in America over the past 8 yrs, is not the doings or makings of any ONE man! It is much bigger and complex than that! Saying all that, As the puppet fiqure, the Front man, Bush recieves all the blame. I do not feel sorry for him, or anyone whos feelings are hurt, when their God, daddy, whatever you call him before going to bed, and waking up every Day, is hated and blamed!,,(put down the indoctrination manual, and step away) He accepted the job, and I wish all the Bushies, (all 28% of them) would quit crying when the rest of us bash him!!,,,,,,or is that Bush him?? |

Bin laden strikes us and Saddam becomes the target, how did this happen? I know congress did not lead this misdirection. So regardless to the fact that members of congress agreed to the intel or wanted to agree with the president at some level. Who is the one who pointed us to Saddam? That is the real culprit here.

I disagree. E-mail me personally, and I'd be glad to share my insights with you.
While George Bush Jr. is not doing a perfect job, he is doing an adequate one. I believe the liberal media is giving us a distorted view of world events, including the events occuring under this administration. I believe that government ought to follow spiritual principles. I do not believe in a theocracy, mind you, but I do believe that the Lord blesses our rulers and where his principles are followed, including principles of thrift, then successes will follow. The government is kind of off base in the thrift department. Subsidies for Ethanol have food prices in an upward spiral. Gas prices are a result of supply and demand. Government controls have encouraged low mileage cars and artificial conservation. Absent governemnt controls, I believe market forces would force us to conserve on our own. Again, government controls have restricted oil exploration and refining, creating bottlenecks in supply and, thus, high prices. Our economic tampering with interest rates produced a buy now, pay later mentality that's led to a credit "crisis" when rates rose and people couldn't afford what they bought. Much of the current malaise has been brought about by misguided legislation, mostly pushed by left leaning legislators, I've found. Now, we have a choice coming up. Do we want more of the same govwernental restriction and control, or do we want the markets to work, employment to rise, and our security to be bolstered? I pray to God that we make the right choice. As for me, I'll be voting Republican straight ticket again, and I'd encourage anyone here to do the same. If you e-mail me privately, I'd be glad to talk with you about these things. If not, I say, God Bless You. I think this country needs good, clear voices from all sides of the political spectrum. That's what makes us great and will continue to make us great in the future. God Bless America! |

"Bin laden strikes us and Saddam becomes the target, how did this happen?" In my heart, I believe that Saddam became the target to take the attention off of the fact that they couldn't find Bin Laden. |
