If you ask Al Gore it is. I get the impression that its a problem, but not to the extreme Al wants everybody to think. I also wonder how much of this is our planets cycle? I mean we have been through Ice ages and everything else.....I just don't know. I am willing to do my part to play it safe though...lol

I think the way we live has some impact on the earth, sure. But I also think it's mother nature too for the most part. It also doesn't help that we keep sending rockets into space breaking holes in the atmosphere...Hmmmmm heard that one from someone...kinda believed it.noway noway noway

I think it is serious - there are glaciers melting in the arctic, the oceans are rising and reclaiming waterfront. Polar bears are starving due to lack of food. Look at the lack of drinking water some states are having. Some deserts are now having floods and areas that were green are now drying out - the continent is changing, slowly, but it is happening. They are having snow in places they haven't for decades, etc. I think it is totally real, and it is scary, in my opinion.

You're right to an extent, Hily. We're merely in a period in between ice ages right now. Nature is far more powerful than we are. It's almost humorous to consider how arrogant we are to think we could destroy this planet. Life will always find a way, long after we're gone...

I think it is slowly becoming a problem. If we don't start to change now it will be a large problem in the future.

I am in a state that was in extreme drought. We still have water restrictions where I live. But it isn't uncommon to have a drought. It happened before and it will happen again. Not due to global warming...just nature.

Amen to that.

The winters where I am at are so much more milder than they were 20 yrs. ago.
