ok funches...let me explain what I mean this way You obviously work out...to lump would be saying ALL guys that work out are self absorbed. SOME might be. SOME might be doing it for health reasons. SOME might be doing it for a release but doesn't all those examples mean they are self-absorbed if someone lift weights they may be self-absorbed with how their body looks in order to stay in good health and it's a release because they have the sex life of a monk ..so yes lifting weights means one is self-absorded with theirselves ..and anyone that cared about theirself would be let's take what toasted was saying about when he had a mohawk. SOME people might think he was a trouble maker. SOME might want to get to know him mohawk or not. I have talked to toasted and know he is a great guy....mohawk or not. And I would have missed out on getting to know him if I just LUMPED him into a trouble maker just because of a mohawk toasted orange had a mohawk because he know it goes against the norms of society and will brandish him as a sort of trouble maker...Mr. T didn't have a mohawk because he wanted people to think he was a nice guy ..so yes the mohawk is the symbol for trouble makers or to be viewed upon as being one Are those better examples???? ..er..nope..sorry ..."yellowrose" you couldn't even give examples without lumping and labeling |

heh...i knew i should check back in here....
yes, in my life i do tend to go against the social norm. i view most people as sheep and wish to distance myself from them. my mohawk, it was not a stance on being badass or a rebel. no, i got it because at that point in my life i was seriously considering going into the army and wanted to do something with my long hair that i'd had for 12 years. i wanted to do something that i considered cool, another's opinion never weighed into it. i had no issues from most people until i returned back home to va from spending nearly two months away from home going to and staying in washington state. another's opinion rarely enters my mind. why care what a sheep thinks anyway? |

This thread has been very accepting of me. I am also tired of the ones that believing in Jesus forcing there beliefs down people throats and judging people. it goes on with both sides and I'm sick of it. Now wonder people lump us all.
