I have had the hiccups for like an hour
. Not the little one's but the one's that hurt, the violent ones.

Drink some pop, the carbonation is supposed to help.

I cured my daughter one time, but you would have to be in a car with someone else driving and it wouldn't work because it has to be a surprise. I waited until there was no traffic in front of me or behind me, and then I made a loud gasping noise and hit the brakes on the car. She freaked and said "what, what's wrong?" I started laughing and she got mad, but she didn't have her hiccups anymore. She had had them for about 3 hours at that point.

Hold your breath for ten minutes. I guarantee the hiccups will be gone.
Ok, seriously... try eating something. A couple soda crackers or a piece of bread is enough. It'll help relax your throat. |
