Sounds like you are going to have to get an attorney. He is trying to up the amount of support, happens all the time, but you will have to go to court to fight it most likely. Sometimes I think they can settle these things through a mediator, but usually I think it actually has to go to court, so you will need an attorney most likely to fight it. Don't wait too long or he could get the amount he wants by default.
Sorry you have to go through this. Good luck, but find an attorney quick. |

yes it is sad
but that is why we are no longer together |

call your local child inforcement office ...they will do an adjustment ....if you are not through the courts yet ,you may have to get custody and/or establish paternity rights. Maybe a lawyer is your best bet.

it all depend's on what state you are in because every state has there own law's.
Now for custody battle's it's not a easy as you think to gain sole custody of a child first you have to proof that the other is unfit to raise a child not only that but also if the other parent has not seen his or her own child for some time it's what you may call Abandonment that also can be use as testamony but it all depend's on what ground's your seeking. And ofcourse there's also abuse if the other parent either negleted or abuse the child in some way that will give you sole custody so there's many differnt ground's that can be used but also it can cost a large sum of money and laywer fee's . |

My divorce was final in Feb. this year, after being separated since Aug 2007, this in Michigan. Get an attorney, repeat with emphasis, get an attorney and if you are feeling like it sue for previous support. If the ex isn't going to abide by the old agreement neither should you.
