true democracy never excited here

true democracy is unconstitutional

------

A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.
Thomas Jefferson

What do you call the popular vote?

Would be happy with some kind of an elite oligarchy voting for the citizens like in Communist Russia?

True democracy existed in ancient Greece, but we can still have a system where people's votes count.

That is the very reason we have votes in the first place.

popular vote does not make a democracy

and it matters not in the presidential election

the electoral college elects the prez

If people vote for someone locally don't they tally up the votes and elect the candidate with the most popular votes?

Or are there some secret voters they're not telling us about?

it's pretty obvious THEY have purposely complicated this voting process to confuse and instill apathy for our complacency..there's no other reason for them to not just count every vote equally..

and it's not his chances of being elected, it's we the peoples' ideas that he has mediated that will change the world forever..you can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea..he may not become president(thx to corporate controlled coverage of him), but his/our words are out, mouth to mouth..and that's far more powerful..

yeah, that's what i love(sarcasm) about the whole thing. he let them line his pockets like all the others, so he gets swept under the mat.

americans either don't know about him or they're ill informed
