When a person is raised to feel a certain way or act a certain way I have found it is next to impossible to change them. The old saying "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" applies here. What to do would be different in each case. All I can say is just stay the same as you are now and keep the touchy feely and maybe he will realize that could be better than what he was raised as. |
