But if I am talking to someone and I find out they are just not that in sinc with what I am looking for in a relationship I hope they don't take it as a put down so much as saying You are cool but just not the combination I had in mind. Rejection implies I think they are defective and often I don't feel that way. |

If your rejected before you even meet, aren't you left with the feeling that you were not even given a chance? Isn't this just one very small insight to who you really are?
In my case, I truely believe if was a huge misunderstanding and communication lines got tangled.

Well..with the guys that I meet..they don't like anything that's complicated or different from what they are used to..so I think a girl in a wheelchair fits under both of those categories. |

It is tough sometimes to know how you are going to feel about someone until you meet but if I clearly get a negative vibe it is just cruel to put someone through the effort of a meeting. If I get the idea that I am not going to fit all that well into the persons image of who they want to be with I don't want to start out swimming upstream. Sure wouldn't want to be the one a person settled about being with because they were just sick of being alone. |
