“Must Try”


As I stare up at the sky.
Am I shooting too high?
Could it be what I see?
Is it not for me?
Could I be reaching for too much?
And it will not be there for me to touch.
Could this just be my imagination?
And out of desperation.
I’m seeing something that is not there.
And once again life will seem unfair.
Even after all our conversation.
I wonder if this is my destination.
I lay my heart upon the line.
As I wait to see if you will decline.
Will you decide it is not me?
Here in the end that you see.
Am I putting too much into the situation?
And there is no foundation.
That we can build upon here today.
And I should just walk away.
Who knows what will happen in the end.
Maybe you will be just a friend.
But that is one chance I must take.
To see if this is just a mistake.
How will we know until we try?
At least then we want have to ask why.

I know we all ask this at one time or the other we meet someone and not sure what they think of us. But you will never know till you take the time to find out. Never go through life asking yourself what if? Go for it and find out if it don't work out then you can move on. For at least you tried no what if's will be tearing you apart.

Agree. I always think of the scene in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest when Jack Nicholson tried to pull up the water fountain. It didn't come up, of course but he said, "I tried."

A single try is worth a dozen cries over chances not taken and possible opportunities missed because you didn't try. Fate of course can be cruel but you're only a fool if you don't go for it.

I finally asked how someone felt about me/ and told them
how I felt about them! I thought I was going to die from the answer back. Guess what? He felt the same! I allmost fainted!
I am so glad I said what I felt after all this time...


Sometimes we just have to ask! Yes it doesnt allways
turn out the way we want it to and sometimes it does!
Its worth knowing!
