animals are here to serve man. They have no soul, nor do they warrant human treatment. This is not to say that they should be mistreated, but some of the treatment they receive is just disgusting. People letting them lick there face, lick off their plates, etc. Disgusting behavior imho. Go ahead and attack, but some people would rather have a animal live the high life than help a human in need. Twisted morals to me I've run into many people who are not worth my time AT ALL I dont think I have met an animal I can say the same about..... NOONE IS HERE TO "SERVE MAN" THATS JUST LUDICROUS! MAN HAS HIS HEAD TO FAR UP HIS AZZ TO SEE THAT THOUGH , ANIMALS ARE BASIC , HONEST , and I close my mouth when an animal kisses me , jeeez humans have worse diseases welll I could go on and on but I personally have better luck with animals than humans ........... AND I am sure compforting Debbie would make alot more sense then making points that might make her feel worse , something else an animal is better at yet again COMPASSION!!

If the animal bit someone (even if the owner just says the animal did) then the animal has to be quarantined for a minimum of 10 days or the head has to be sent off to determine if the animal had rabies. In addition, a bite report would need to be filled out. So just saying an animal bit someone doesn't make the vet bills go away. In fact, they would probably be even more. im saying they lie, because they dont want there pet anymore, and by saying that, they get rid of it. And I'm saying it's not that simple.

she lives in a different country...how do you know it's not like that there? and even here...if you tell the vet that an animal has violent tendencies, you're pretty likely to get the animal put down. of course, many will put them down for ANY reason...

The entire modern infrastructure was started using animals backs, and muscles . They are a servant of man, they exist at our whim. We OWN animals, they are PROPERTY. Check out the laws, I think you will find they fall on my side of the argument here

Instead of complaining about how people can get away with it, start a grass roots effort to change it. If money isn't an issue, then you should be able to get something going.

LORI, My brothers fiancee is a vertinary nurse, and in this country thats what they do, luckily so far shes taken them all on.

Thankyou, im glad there is some kind hearted people in this world. well at any moment im going to be sick, because now hes saying he would eat is dog. im sorry people like him should be put down. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Those sentences you said were so disgusting, about people putting animals above humans, you just validated it. You would rather see me be put down than eat my pet. I appreciate your help greatly i actually think, you saying you would eat your dog, was NOT appropiate to say at all, this thread is NOTHING about that. You have made a thread turn sickening.

I'm not saying a vet won't put an animal down that has violent tendencies. i was in the veterinary business for 16 years. You don't just walk in and say this animal is violent and every one goes scurrying for a needle. And saying "many will put them down for any reason" is a ridiculous statement. I've worked with and known hundreds of veterinarians and I've never met one that would euthanize an animal without just cause. Your statement is just like when people say they know someone who's pet died during a dental. It's an easy, emotional statement to make that sounds good and gets people nodding their heads in agreement but has no basis in fact and can't be proven. Believe me, EVERYONE says this to us. It seems everyone in the world knows someone who's pet died during a dental.
