Why are men so hard to read? I'm wondering if this guy I know is going to ask me out. He pays so much attention to me when he sees me, like the world stops! He asked for my number...and then nothing. I'm frustrated Maybe he's just shy or even intimidated by a beautiful woman

I'm wondering something. You say that you haven't had a date in a long time. Are you ultra picky (my problem) or are you sending signals i.e: I'm not available? You know i'm a little picky but I wouldn't say ultra. He knows my ex and knows I have only been single for a few months, so he knows I'm available. When we are together (with friends) he is constantly hugging me or has his arm around me and says things like "I can't believe Jeff (the ex) is so stupid" That's why I'm confused. When he asked for my number, I was really excited and came out of my shell to actually flirt back! UGH!

They've never been friends. But you may be right about the respect thing. My other friend said the same thing. Even though they aren't friends, there is still that "man pact" that's how he said it lol
