I close my eyes and casually
envision you in front of me
taking my hand and leading me
down the hall to the bed
lying peacefully side by side
no need for words,
no need for kisses or
making love
Your presence alone fulfills me
holding desire at bay
This friend I've found in you
is so unique and new
Your inner beauty I seek
and here and now, you let me peek
into who you are, and my
curiosity is piqued
The moods if the day washed away
and I bask in the sweetness
of or your soft carresses
Fingertips touching tenderly
hands intertwining and lingering
looking into your eyes
I can see no hidden measures
