fill me in star on what your idea of a conservative is. Come on, why don't you just copy and paste it in from your truthful informative sites? I am NOT going to detail the entire thing. However, main point. Conservative are for small, limited government. The last 7 years PROVE that the administration is for anything but that. Get rid of the unions that have priced us out of competition. How can a company compete with others who will make the same products but at a lower cost when the Unions tie their hands with many incompetent workers (not all of them mind you) that make more money than the market will support for a given job? That would be a start. |

The voting booth in Novemeber. How did we get in a position of having two worthless candidates to vote for this year? It doesn't matter which demo gets the nomination, they are both socialist scary candidates, and don't even get me started about the liberal in Republican clothing either. This is the most dpressing election in my memory. It is about time to take our country back, don't you think? madman...... After McCain gets it you are going to have to keep trying for another eight years. |

Way back then: Government by the people for the people Now: Government by the corporations for the corporations. Result? Its time for another tea party

ok keep pushing socialism and you will find out what it is like There are important and fundamental differences between socialism and liberalism. When critics attempt to slander liberals by calling them "socialists," liberals should immediately challenge them to define the difference between liberalism and socialism. If they cannot, or continue to claim that they are the same, liberals should then chide them for being novices in political science, unable to define even the most basic terms of the debate. Socialism means that workers, not private owners, would own and control the means of production: factories, farmland, machinery, and so on. In democratic elections, workers would vote for 1) their supervisors, 2) their representatives to a local and national council of their industry or service, and 3) their representatives to a central congress representing all the industries and services. Socialism has been proposed in many forms, ranging from republics to direct democracies, from centralized state bureaucracies to free market anarchy. Political scientists do not view the "socialism" nominally practiced by the Soviet Union as true socialism -- this was, essentially, a dictatorship over workers by a ruling elite. By comparison, liberals believe that private owners should own and control the means of production, formulate company policy, and have the right to select their own management team. Liberals would prevent them from abusing their powers through checks and balances like strong labor unions and democratic government. http://www.huppi.com/kangaroo/ShortFAQ.htm#socialism |

Argue your own point please. I am very well versed on the political climate. See I actually work for a living. i don't sit in a chair doing 2 hours worth of work in a 8 hour period protected by a union contract. I earn my money through hard work and dedication rather than organized extortion. The time of the unions are almost over brother, what will you do when the trend continues, and your union is broken? I feel sorry for you, because you wont be able to copy and paste your way out of that one. When you actually have to get out and fend for yourself, you will see what a working man has to go through, and the burden he carries on his shoulders |

When you actually have to get out and fend for yourself, you will see what a working man has to go through, and the burden he carries on his shoulders Yes, you would love your union. "skate", and "hang on" are not terms that should be used to describe your employment. Broken down? You are overweight according to your picture, and obviously not nearly as healthy as I am. I can retire today if i so choose, and if you don't believe that ask the two from the site that have met me. I did this because I was not content to "skate", or "hang on"so I could get a pension, I made my way myself, rather than riding the coat tails of others. I could care less what you consider me versed in, the facts defy your words. BTW, I used to belong to the chemical workers union, and left a 6 figure job to go into business for myself. I would be more than happy to scan in my old union card for you for proof |

In my humble opinion I dont think you are versed in anything beyond misperceptions I have been in my union for 15 years brother and enjoyed the benefits of great stable employment I have a vested pension and geat if not fantastic healthbenfits all I realy need to do is hang on for 15 more years and Ican skate into retirenment at 57 but I wil probably wait to 62 come talk to me then about how bad unions are when your body is broken down and no on will hire you.
and you will be just another leach on society, just like all the rest of the union folks...and watch everything go to china to be built because you, and the folks like you, have priced american business right out of the market...vis a vis the automakers. |

thats nice rob it realy is. we all desererve to find our dreams. just because my dream isnt the same as yours doesnt make you right or me wrong and visa versa. I chose to not have my job dominate my life as those higher up the ladder deal with. I do an honest 8 hours of work and leave it at work and fullfill myself in other ways that are meaningfull to me
