Tonight I sit and stare, at my computer screen...
and, not once, did I see through the night,
what I wish that I had seen.
Someone... that touches me. touches my soul.
Someone, that feels me, and makes me feel whole.
Tonight, is like any other night,
Where I do not find what I seek...
I take the risk of being found out,
and at others, do I peek.
Some have such profound words, that say who they might be,
Others preach of things they've done, or what they'de like to see.
Few take time to really say, what they want most of all,
and it's in these few profiles, that I see now and then,
that my tears begin to fall.
I could love her... or maybe her, she has a nice qoute at the end.
And this one, the words that she's written here, oh, yes, how they make my heart mend.
Maybe over there, a small little thing, a profile none the less...
It's only had three clicks on it, and yet, this girls a goddess.
Now I don't say that, because of her pic... although many are consistenly good,
it's the words that she wrote, that nobody reads, almost like initials carved in the wood...
(of a tree...)
(a tree, that no-one, on a computer will see)
So many lovers, left all alone, looking for someone that will pick-up the phone, and let them know, that their love has been shown...
and that someone is willing to take it home...
But, well, that's just lonely me...
And although we're both about as lonely as lonely can be...
While nobodies looking at you, nobodies looking at me...
And it's funny, that no-one sees what I see.
