Topic: Men as friends? | |

What do you think of a woman having a male friend? Not going to the bars together or things like that. Just helping them with work they need help with, going to auctions, or antique shops. And stopping for lunch, or breakfast. Time spent when me and my other cant do things together. Better off yet me him and you, if possible. But do you think that is called dating him?? thanks for your imput, Jennifer :~}

If you had to be dating every girl you were friends with I would have like 30 girlfriends. And as cool as that sounds I know that the headache involved just wouldnt be worth it, lol.
But yes, you can be friends with someone of the opposite sex. The key is being mature about it |

I have two guy friends and we go to the bars together, and everything. They aren't gay either. But the guy I'm seeing doesn't like that I have guy friends. He says that they only want to have sex with me. Even when I tell him that it's not like that, he still believes what he wants. It's a tuffy.

98% of my friends--- both online and in real life--- are male. I find the majority of women too frilly, gossipy and annoying. It's always a competition with them. With the guys, I can let my hair down, talk about real stuff-- (not celeb gossip and soaps)... belch without offending...
I'm not saying all girls are horrible... but I am more comfy being one of the guys... do i see it as a conflict with dating and/or relationships? Absolutely not. My husband is perfectly fine with me having male friends. Actually, most of his friends are female... what should the gender of your friends matter? It's about compatibility, common ground and having fun. |

Any guy who is so possessive that he tells you who to keep as friends is NOT WORTH THE AGGREVATION! |

There is nothing wrong with having friends of the opposite sex. io love to go camping & hiking but not my girl friends so, I go with the guys. Some of my dearest friends are guys.
If I am dating someone and they tell me they don't like me hanging out with other guys, that tells me he has issues with control, insecurity, and trust. I am not going to dump my friends just to make a date happy. |

I agree, but I think that he's just a little jealous. lol. I know that once he gets to know them, he'll think differently.

Thanks!! My ex couldnt stand it. And told me he was my sugar daddy and all kinds of mean things like, I need multipule guy attention... The man I am friends with, has helped me thru some very difficult times. He is like 17 yrs older than me, is just about dead from diabeties. has faulse teeth, must i go on,lol I got to spend around 5 hrs a month with him, and my ex went NUTS Because he said it was a date
I wanted to know what the public trully had to say about it. His family said, it was too, so he says. Eventually he had my daughter convinced It was wrong He couldnt see what was in front of him, he was so jelious, he wouldnt leave me alone for 1 min. And now that I broke up with him, he is blaming it all on me. Couldnt see that he was the cause. He had to think bad of me and hurt me really bad, to say he wasnt doing anything wrong but i know its for the best. thank you for listening to me, Jennifer |
