Well, I have to be off work until the 24th because of this stupid arm thing (dislocated shoulder). I have about $600 to spare, so I figure on renting a car and going somewhere to visit someone for three to five days.

I live in southern Indiana and want to go somewhere close. The closer to here the better. I'd consider places in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Arkansas, or Tennessee, I guess.

I'd like to go visit someone, visit them at home, have them cook me some meals, visit, talk, walk around, watch the tube, visit relatives and friends with them, go to bookstores and generally do things that don't cost a lot of money. Most of my bucks would go into getting a car, getting a place to stay and getting stuff to eat, I guess. I don't smoke or drink. I'm a Christian and don't do the close physical relations thing but hugs and kisses are always appreciated, of course.

I'm most interested in visiting someone between say 35 and 65 years of age, I guess. I'm 52, about six feet tall and about 210 pounds, presently. I'm mostly a blue jeans and flannel shirt/sweat shirt/t shirt kind of guy.

I sent e-mails to a few people about this tonight and I'm just waiting to see who responds best and sounds like a decent person to visit.

I'm not really looking for a long term relationship or a long distance relationship. I can't really afford to sustain a long distance one. But I am looking for a chance to get away somewhere for a few days and share some time with someone.

Here's an alternative: I'm thinking of going to New Jersey. I'd go through Cincinatti and Dayton and across the Pensy turnpike and stay in Jersey for about three days. I'd like a companion to share the driving with me. I'd pay for the gas and the rental car (unless you want to share the expenses, which I wouldn't mind). I figure we'd go dutch on the meals, drinks and separate accommodations. I'm going to visit my step mother in Farmingdale, New Jersey, the central part of the state about 20 mins inland from the Atlantic. She has two bedrooms upstairs. We'd each have our own. We'd visit my aunts and cousins, my stepbrother and his family, and we'd go wave at the ocean and then we'd head back to Indiana. I can pick you up along the route, if you're interested.
