Pulling out means zero casualties. Also means they would have to solve their own countries problems as should have been from get. The problem is pulling out does not mean zero casualties it means thousands if not tens of thousands of casualties. These casualties on the other hand will be civilan, not military. If we pull out now then one terrorist leader or another will hit not only targets in iraq but america as well and as said before we will be right back over there. there may be no need to go back over there to find them....they may be over here looking for us... |

here's what would most likely happen... We pull out, what little government they have currently crumbles in a matter of weeks. (In order to let that happen we would have to ignor their calls for help) Anyway, whatever gang, organization, clan, whatever you want to call it that is the strongest would prosper. This would most likely be one that the Iranians are aiding. They would take over, establishing another dictatorship after months and months of civil war. Other countries would grow to despise us even more for all the damage we caused (millions and millions of deaths). Then, after celebrating their victory over the U.S. terrorists would have some precious propoganda to use as a recruiting tool. not to mention they would be much richer since they would own another country. The U.S. would look weak, making apparent where our weaknesses are (public opinion/media/politicians). Then they would most likely send a message to us again (Like 9/11) figuring we learned our lesson about "trying to retalliate". (I realize Iraq was a different issue than 9/11, but they would make the correlation to make us look weaker.) Anyhow, this would take place over the course of a few years so i guess we'd be safe for a while. Im no fortune teller but this is a likely scenario based on where the pieces of this chess board lie. And the mentallity of our opponents.
