Lost in your essence,
My spirit becomes still,
The yearning is lost
As my heart threatens to fill,

This stolen glance
Has taken my voice
My heart in a puddle
Not by my choice.

Daring to see
Beyond your dark eyes,
Perceiving your heart,
Stained by your cries.

Peering upon the dried rivers of tear,
I feel you are shaking
As I sense what you fear.

Shall I resist
From what I behold?
Enticing me deeper,
What I see is untold.

Dear lady your heart
Sings like an angel of light
And shimmers like crystal
Reflecting moonlight.
