Topic: SNOW RECORD IN MONTREAL | |
---|---|
We are a measly 29cm from breaking that 70-71 snowfall record. After the snow storm we had this past week-end with more to come on Wednesday, Flurries???
You’ve heard of that record right? It’s the one your parents (if you’re my age) go on and on and on about.. “Ya, Justin but this is nothing like 1971″. Well, we are 29 cm from being able to say, BAH! ‘71 was a joke compared to ‘08. Or worse yet, to be able to nag our kids with “nothing like ‘08 son.. I remember ‘08″............... |

A cute reminder of my childhood days! I remember when the snow was so deep here in Western PA that we could actually dig 'snow tunnels' through the fallen snow.

Remember we were little children and a lot shorter than we are now. I am five feet seven inches, but remember when the snow came up to my waist when I was a little girl. I had so much fun in the snow when I was a child. I had two brothers and they taught me how to build a snow fort and make snowballs. We would build snowmen and went sleding down the hill in the park. It was so much fun. I would love to find a man to do those things with ... but the men today don't want to do silly things. |
