Topic: right or wrong?

When I was way younger, I was drunk off my ass and at a denny's not causing too much trouble, and cops were there, they didn't do anything. But we did get em to breathalize us, I blew a .17, I was proud! And they said they would not only arrest me, but smack me around if I drove.

cops get arrested for breaking the law too not around here they don't, they loose their job, and move on...nothing is ever done to 'em

Its not so bad being drunk in public so long as that is the only thing going on . Unfortunatly people often get to drunk and act the fool one way or enother . How ever if that is not the case , I think they should leave you alone . I most add though that I have a much different view on D.U.I. having had my neck broken by one 7 years ago .

lol around here they do. I'm from a family of cops and have a lot of cop friends. Most of the friends are bikers and thy get drunk alot. there is nothing the police chief loves more than throwing them in the tank to teach them a lesson

It does suck for being arrested. But, I am thankful that you were not driving. My ex's brother was killed by a drunk driver. My ex says that his brother was murdered.

You are not the least bit embarassed by your bad behavior? You really think the police are at fault? Were they holding a gun to your head forcing you to drink and make an ass out of yourself? Grow up and take responsibility for your own actions.

public intox?....should cops be more worried about us wekkend drunks or criminals?....got arrested sat. for public intox and it suxed so let me know what u think.... You purely and simply have my sympathy

Were you disturbing the peace or just minding your own business and stumbling around and they nabbed you? just being loud and funny trying to get others in my group to have fun theye were bumming me out...i really wasnt doing anything wrong..i dont think

i think this depends on what level your drunk and what you did, i went to pick my other half up on friday nite and a guy was walking in the middle of the road putting himself and us in cars in danger, so if it takes them out of the way for a while to sober up fair doos i wasnt even anywhere near a road we were on my freinds land in the ****ing woods but i guess the house next door (where ever the hell that was) had some dogs and they kept on barking and i was the only one being l;oud when the cops came...not rude or disrespectful to anyone i swear i am a goofy drunk..dont play wiht guns or fire or cars dont even have my liscence yet or a car so nop driving for me..
