Somewhere Inside

There is a place
where angels do tread
Upon the golden highways
Far away from the dead.

Where darkness is silenced
And lilacs grow strong
The sun stands so still
And peace defeats wrong.

Here is where time
Shall never begin,
Here is where hearts
Are never broken.

There is no sickness
And tears find no cause
For here is there harmony
Without a just pause.

So where is this place
And can I get there?
Dear child don't you see
You're already there.

It's a journey within
If you dare just to peek
It's there in your soul
This place that you seek.

For others it takes
A heart with strong love
To teach and to nurture
What most think's above.
