Anyone involved in a friends with benefits situation? How is that working for you?

Have been involved in one? How did it end?

I'll start. Did it ages ago with an ex-boyfriend. Ended because feelings were still involved and I knew we would not end up back together. Still very good friends though.

I had one, he is in Iraq now, but it worked well, when we did things as friends, we didn't sleep together, and when we slept together, we didn't chit chat... kept things seperate....

I love and sdore him in many ways, but just don't match enough to date on a regular basis....

It is a tricky situation, because you do have to keep things seperate...

I've not done that since high school. I think I could've done it in my early twenties, but now that I'm a bit older intimacy is too tied up in emotions for me and I take that seriously.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it, or that I've been intimate with everyone since then because I loved them, but I just don't feel the same way about it I used to.

As a continual thing though... I think it causes more problems than it results in fun.
