I think if your partner left it there then that shows they trust you and you shouldn't break that trust. Obviously they don't have anything to hide.

my husband and I have a joint email address. we have no secrets. i actually have the password to his other email from when we first met, as he has mine.
of course, ours has to be a relationship of honesty and trust... considering he is active duty navy and we aren't physically together for long periods of time at present. |

there has been atleast 5 threads for this in the last week where people actually did read emails because they had the password and not one of them came out good so no dont do it
