Life And Dream

I threw out that book
As it never read right,
I read it so often
It changed my own sight.
Love is not written
Nor is it a game,
It comes from somwhere within,
Yet it's never the same.
So many lives ruined
By playing a part,
Striving to live
By something that's written,
It just isn't smart.
Live by your heart
And speak what you feel,
Get in touch with your spirit,
Something that's real.
Don't play with emotions,
You know what is right.
If you want something that's pure
And something that's true,
Then settle for nothing
That's less than what's you.
You might not see the rainbow
Or hear the birds sing,
Have true faith with hope
And follow your dreams.
