Most of the time, any company that gives away hosting is either VERY limited or places ads on your site (or both).
I personally recommend these guys. I've been with them for years now and their support is great, they're cheap, and they provide a ton of space. They also have great scripting and database support. Check them out. http://www.fatcow.com/join/index.bml?AffID=556421 |

Hosting is so cheap these days it is best to pay for it so you don't get all the ads from the freebee sites. No one will take your site too seriously if it is a free site, unless you just want to play around. Doesn't Yahoo still do free sites? I have a free one on Yahoo geocities. I haven't done anything to it for a long time.
Hostgator.com is the best place in my opinion. I use them. for ten bucks a month you can have a massive amount of space and unlimited domains. JB |
