Take What You Wish

Come over here and look deep inside
Don't fear my friend, for I've nothing to hide.
Inside you'll see that treasures abound
Stacked from from the ceiling down to the soft ground.
Dust off the dirt and take what you wish,
But be careful for something of rare you might fish.
You'll find here lots of happiness and pain,
Memories and thoughts or maybe friendship to gain.
If it's wisdom you seek, just ask for the key
Sometimes it's dark and you might not see.
You'll have to brave the cellar below
Where all the important stuff rests that I know.
Here you'll find love and commitments of sorts
A heart that is busted and a bull that wears shorts.
What you might call a junkyard or wasteland to you
Is the place where I go to bask in my great solitude.
Like I told you before you came in
Take what you want
And maybe one day you'll come back once again.
