Hummmm don't know where you read that but not a requirment within the site to have pictures up but now fake pictures do go against Site Rules if they are trying to pass them off as themselves.

And yes we have had ones post a fake picture and try to say it was them but...... they got busted.

If you Don't have a photo of yourself at least put up a cool AV =) Seeing blue always makes me sad and seeing a box reminds me of where I put my anger. . .

Yes, some people do post fake pics, and it is against site rules for one to misrepresent themselves, doing so may result in suspensions, or possibly being banned from the site. We would prefer to avoid this.

Hummm but guess it is okay for you to have pics that are not you, in your profile little two sided now are we besides I am a member just as you are and post within the forums just like anyone else.

This is the actual wording from the FAQ:


Q. What are the rules for photo content in your profile?

A. Photos must not contain any nudity or offensive content. Users with offending photos will have their profile deleted immediately and will be banned from the site. Photos may also not contain any copyrighted material.


If I remember correctly, you do have to use a non-blue-box picture to be included in Mutual Match. But even there, I have seen lots of people with cat pictures, cartoons, signs, etc., in the MM pics.

To clarify, the pic rules are loosely moderated, Unless someone is using a celeb pic and trying to pass themselves off as another, or in the cases of nude pics, then yes we will remove them.
