Your recipients will get raspy audio if you go too cheap. You should take a moment and figure out how long u'll be using it, how important audio quality is to you, and then make an educated decision. You get what you pay for when it comes to mics, generally speaking.

Did you know that 75% of all statistics are made up on the spot? hes right, statistically 100% of desktop computers dont come with mics, and 5% of monitors come with mics =) Some 'Laptops' have built-in mics. I bought a usb microphone which i was very satisfied with cost me 30 at best buy. Logitec =) |

Headphones can never work as a mic. Mic uses a input in the sound cards, and headphones are on the output of a soundcard

OK,here's an update on my computer issues. I bought a mic, a cheap one, only paid. $12 for it. Well, here's the deal, the person I'm talking to can barely hear me. I have to hold the mic up t my mouth and even then, they don't hear me well. I have checked all my settings, all looks good. Could it just be that it's a cheaply made mic??????????????????????????
