Well, if there is such a thing as an Anti-Christ, I think GW Bush would certainly qualify.

The anti-Christ will rise from a union of 10 nations. GW Bush cannot be the anti-Christ for that reason alone. There are other reasons, but one is enough.

I think this is really funny that you should say this. The USA has many allies that anyone who wanted to make prophecy ‘fit’ could easily claim is a ‘union of 10 nations’.

This is how prophecies are fulfilled. Simply by people putting together whatever information they can find that fits and ignoring all information that doesn’t fit.

If you take a course in probability and statistic you will soon learn how to make any realistic prediction appear to have been fulfilled. This is especially true for large circumstances (like humanity in general), but it can even be made to work on the individual level. In fact, having a good understanding of how to do this is what keeps many ‘psychics’ in business.

Also, you can’t possible know whether Bush might form a union with 10 nations in some other way in the very near future. So how can you claim that prophesy hasn’t been fulfilled yet when his term isn’t even over yet.

Personally I don’t believe there is such a thing as an Anti-Christ so the whole thing is moot to me. I don’t believe that God is a warrior running a war against Satan. I think that’s a really sick demented view of the creator of this universe. Only medieval men could have dreamed up such a sick picture of a jealous God who is always disparate to be appeased and who throws temper tantrums like an immature child when things don’t go his way. It’s clearly a reflection of the personalities of the men who lived in ancient times. Men who dreamed of having servants bow down and worship THEM.

Why would God want humans to bow down and worship him? That’s suggests an ego. Do you believe that God has an ego?

And although you are not nearly so old as I am, ( ) I know it is harder as time goes on.... I worked for 5 years in between getting my BS and grad school... it was hard to get back into the habit of studying as a full time grad student, not to mention the alarmingly huge memory loss of undergrad pre-req's... especially statistics and calculus and chemistry... it's not as if I used them in the interim!!!!

I was just wondering as a co-worker said he fit the Revelations prophesies but hey I know from nothing about scripture.

I watched a program on UNCTV about a week ago, and the guest speaker said that he believed, if Obama became President there would be a civil war in this country!
Not an armed one, but a political and idealistic one.

The program was on a black heritage show,- late night,- public Television.

I still havent figured that one out.
