Questions From Within
Have you ever felt a spirit Or touched a tender heart? Have you ever kissed a teardrop To stop a hurting's start? Have you ever looked beyond The eyes that stared at you And found a treasure waiting there So profound and true? Have you ever kissed the cheek Of one whose heart did break And did you show them that you cared With a smile that you made? Did you ever hurt so bad, You thought your heart would die? Did you ever feel alone Because you couldn't cry? Did you ever think about How senseless words can kill And did you ever wonder how A friend could love you still? These questions asked aren't random, They're trapped within a heart. So have you ever stopped to think That within you the answers are? Fadedspirit 2/27/2008 |

Thanks MirrorMirror.
Awww, thanks pkh! davidben, Yes, I have let a woman down that I loved dearly once. Only because I never took the time to really show her how deeply I cared. Though I have healed from the pain, that scar remains. Though many years have gone since she took flight, I always carry her smile and wisdom in my heart. Thanks for taking the time to see and read. |

awh....i have me self and so recognized it, and know that nothing can seperate us from the one that is truly our other half, and why your words meant more to me than just a poem, and consider you a fellow traveler with a mortal wound the same as me self, and know that no wound in the battle of life EVER goes without one day a great reward, as no man ever asked before he came here that he would request to fail, but rather all humanity find great strength only first thru weakness...your words inspire me friend.
