Ok, so was on my laptop yesterday. Everything was fine and dandy, shut it down before bed last night. Woke up this morning turned my laptop on, windows came up for about 3 seconds then went black. I tried everything to get it to work, so I went on safe mode and made a new account to log on and it works fine.? Am I making any sense?
  What should I do with the other account to get it to come up?

Put in timeout, give it a stern talking too and tell it, if it does it again you are going to spank it.

no clue... was on my sons laptop last night..... logged out....put it aside.... and the darn thing started talking.... i was like were is this coming from... here i pushed his movie back in,on the side....
go back on it today and...can't figure the darn thing out.... 
nothing like waking and cursing out a comp... 
so I went to a normal comp... And I want to buy a laptop...

does your laptop charge from an internal lithium/etc battery?
If it does it just means ur power ran out, u turned it back on and it was charged so u didnt actually need to make a new login ID just a thought |

Well i'm far from a computer geek but i can tell you what i would do. While you are in the new account i would do a system restore back to when your computor worked fine! |

Well i'm far from a computer geek but i can tell you what i would do. While you are in the new account i would do a system restore back to when your computor worked fine! Yeah, guess that is what I am gonna end up having to do. I was hoping it wasn't anything too serious. I did a disk clean-up and defragmented and ran virus scan, ad-aware and everything thing else i could think of while I was on safe mode. Grrrrrr computers suck balls.

Did your laptop go into energy-saving mode? Some laptops will either go into suspend mode or something similar at a moment's notice if not configured properly.
You'd have to go into your Control Panel and check your power saving settings to find this out. |

Youve prolly done this but maybe restore your system to an earlier point when all was well...

Try when you go to where you went into safemode F8? and click on the (last known good configeration). It should work.. Miles

sounds like a video card issue/ or a heating proplem... do a re-start and start in safe mode and get your computer info!!!
if you already no tell me..
