My rule is guys come and go-but my friends are my family. I would never be with a guy that made me feel like i had to choose. He would defimately lose. But gamma to answer your ? - i think its because friends are taken for granted and expected to come running the minute you have drama.

They tend to focus all their attention on one person at a time and forget that good friends are the most important thing in the world.

why is when a friend gets a boyfriend they stop talking to you....i never have understood this myself...can some one explain this to me. I think you know already. Some of us haven't been with anyone in a long time so we tend to give all our attention to the one were with at first. It's the cloud 9 effect ![]() ![]() |

Maybe it's because, while they're single, they're still considering their options, and you might still be an option, even if they just consider you a friend. In that way, they want to keep the friendship open just in case.
When they do get a boyfriend, it's a commitment that they make to that one other person, and it takes time to work on, and develop. So they have less time for all their other friends. Plus, now, not only are you not an option, they're afraid their boyfriend might get jelous if they hang out with you too much. Plus maybe they're just too awed by your presence and they feel unworthy... that might be something too ![]() |

That's pretty frikken disturbing... But she probably stopped using her account because she considers it more of a "dating" site than a networking site, and since she has dates now... why does she need it? You should just send her an email or phone call or something saying that she's a great friend, but you miss hanging out/talking with her, and suggest getting together/talking sometime. Also, let her know that just because she's found a date doesn't mean that she can't use the site as an opportunity to find more friends. |
