Today it is my time
to break from your chain
to step out of the shadow
my past life has made
will no longer endure
your eyes of discern
i'm living proof
even fools can still learn
for i know i am beautiful
my souls flows with love
just waiting to be shared
with one sent from above
its been a long road
thats brought me to here
one filled withhurt
despair and much fear
i'm no longer frightened
i'm ready to fly
my quest for true joy
shall not be denied
now i look down at you
perched on your thrown
its blinding your minds eye
cant see that i've flown
i walk in the light
have taken his hand
the ruler of heaven
the seas and the land
wasted time searching
through book and through song
but when i qiut looking
twas here all along
now i pray for your being
despite all your zeal
i pray that you find him
only then can you heal
