My family and I are planning a cruise to Alaska, and the 4 day land tour through Denali. I was wondering if anyone has done this already...and are there any GREAT out of the way places to see, places to shop?
This is one place that I have always wanted to go to. I want to have an unforgettable time!!!! |

My sister and I will be 50 in June, although the cruise is in May. I definately consider it to be my 50th birthday BASH!!!!

I lived near Anchorage for 15 years, I am not much of a shopper I have to admitt so I cant help you there, but I can tell you that it is BREATHTAKING and it is something that you will never forget!!!

I've been to Alaska 10 times. It is just an amazing trip. Breathtaking. You'll love the land part as well. Both the cruise and the land is incredible. On the cruise make sure you do the dogsleding on the glacier. Shopping is good in Ketchikan and in sitka as well.
No matter when you go, pack in layers. The weather can be 70 one day and the very next it could be 30. Layers is best with the last layer being waterproof. Have a great cruise. I work for a cruiseline so I travel all over. |
