i was walking over to one of the counters with a cup of hot water from one of the espresso machines and stumbled and got a little on my hand which startled me so i jumped a little and the rest got on my hand... (the water was 200 degrees F exactly) so i have 2nd degree burns on my hand

they gave me a prescription for pain meds and some cream called silver something... it felt good when they put it on at the hospital... but then again everything feels good when your on oxycodone.... except for this burn... i can still feel how much it hurts

Take care and take a few moments for yourself. Any trauma could bring on delayed reaction and in combination with the meds, it could be worse. Hope you are not alone this evening.

i didnt report it at work.... i didnt find it that big of a deal at the time... i put anti burn cream on it with a glove and kept working because im a moron
