I've said it a hundred times and I'll say it again here. The problem with internet relationships is they are perfect. You only know a tiny fraction of what the other person is really like so your imagination fills in all the gaps. And of course it'll be filled in with all the flowery wonderful sexy warm nice stuff that you WANT the other person to be like. You have NO IDEA what the other side of any story they tell you is. They're whining about how the boss was mean to 'em and you're sooo understanding and sooo mad at that mean boss. You don't know they're constantly late for work and they screw off half the day and they're about to get fired for being a general putz. They tell you about the way their ex treated them sooo bad and you really feel for the horrible way they were sooo abused. What you don't know is they were banging the next door neighbor which is why their ex said all those things. Internet relationships are perfect because they're imaginary. But then that's what you just said isn't it? And now I have the song "Imaginary Lover" by Atlanta Rhythm Section running through my head. |

well i often find that within the first 5 minutes of talking to some men the sex talk startes. that just tells me that they are not what i am looking for an i move on....
