So yeah, I decided a while ago to donate my hair to locks of love... and uh... I got ... encouraged... to buzz it off. I put some pictures of the process and the result in my profile. Check em out and tell me what you think!

I'll probably grow it out for a while after this... so don't freak out if it's awful... my hair grows amazingly fast.

It is very entertaining though.... hehehe... I'm FUZZY!

Just curious. How long was your hair, in inches? I am doing the same thing soon, and they said I had to send at least 10 inches.
I have no problem with that, my hair is past my butt right now.
I am a large female and am going to get it cut so it hangs just below my shoulder.

yeah people asked me if i did that to my hair, but i just got really drunk one night and cut it into a mohawk, worse decision ever, at work i will forever be known as simply "mohawk"
but its been like 4 months and it has grown pretty quick, take lots of vitamins, it grows faster

I have never heard of that. I have gray in mine and thay are happy to get it. But who knows, maybe it's because of my length.

Thank you. The guy buzzing my hair agreed... said something about it being "strikingly attractive" on women, and offered me a free haircut should I ever be going through conneticut.

When I was there they said they'd take 7 inches. And I think they even take grey hair, because they make other wigs out of it, and sell them to raise money for locks of love.

There were quite a few that cut their hair that day, but my friend Josh (who cut off a 14 inch ponytail) and I were the most radical transformations.

Go donate your hair peoples! It's fun! And maybe you'll be hit on by creepy stylists!!

Just thought I'd update you all... My roomie helped me add red leopard spots to my hair... I don't have a pic yet, but I will soon. It's really awesome.
