Yup, then you'd have the smell of charcoaled hot dogs in your house, ewwwwwwwwwwwww But, it's better than burnt peanut butter, that has got to be the most god-awful smell ever.

My ex was making these chocolate peanut butter things and had never made them before. You're supposed to melt the chocolate and peanut butter together for about a minute. He put the pb in the microwave by itself for like 5 minutes and went outside. It was practically on fire by the time he got back in. The smell didn't leave for days. Yeah, you don't need to say it, he's none too bright sometimes.

yeah. Well, needless to say, I ended up not only cleaning the exploded pb from the microwave but making a new batch. We've all pulled stupid stuff before (please, ask me how many teapots I've gone through in my life cause I forget I turned it on) but some are definitely worse than others Ask Steve sometime about his friend who burned a bowl of cereal
