Pray For Our Soldiers



Supporting our troops through prayer is the greatest
and most powerful gift we can offer them.
This awesome song drives that message to the hearts of its listeners.
Our soldiers are individuals with families & loved ones
just like you and me. We should all be praying for them.

As many Americans do, my wife and I say night time prayers
with our children and we have a pretty strong faith in God.
Since the inception of our great nation,
generation after generation has passed this tradition
on to their children and grand children.

We have so many blessings in this nation,
we can't begin to understand the struggle
that most people in the world go through
just to feed the next meal to their family,
have pure drinking water,
or have shelter over their heads at night;
much less the countless freedoms
that we enjoy as Americans and take for granted.

Since the United States has become one of the world leaders,
it has strived to help countless communities
throughout the world have an improved life
and enjoy more freedoms.

Each time duty calls, the American Soldier is there,
despite the political controversies or justifications
that caused each war or conflict.


Every night as my family prays,
we pray for an end to the war
and for God to bless the Soldiers and their families.
I was awakened one night with the chorus to this song,

and I pray that everyone who listens to it
truly appreciates the freedoms that we enjoy
and will pray for the Soldiers who are in harm's way.

May God continue to bless our great nation
and may all Americans ask for His blessings
on our Soldiers and their families
no matter what our stance is on the war.

Again I will keep Matthew and his family in my thooughts and prayers.

I hate this conflict and I wish every soldier could return home NOW!

WE have lost enough of our children there when we lost the first one.
Im sorry, we have nothing MORE to gain being there.
Just more to possibly lose.

yes iam4u...children is the key word...so many young lives lost...and even the lucky ones that will survive will surely be emotionally scarred...for a barrel of oil...senseless and sickening...and why aren't skippy's daughters(barbara and jenna) in uniform??? can't stay out of rehab long enough i guess
and rapunzel, i left a note for my daughter to add matthew to the prayer when she goes to church w/grandma in the morning
