Topic: I've been thinking all day and seeing as i'm ok I'll share

I've decided that video games such as guitar hero and rock band are going to eventually kill the music industry cuz kids are going to quit learning ho to play instruments cuz they think the video games are just as cool... Ok, so maybe it won't go this far... but still i say boycott(even though i love those games but i can still play a real instrument also)

depends on the parents then doesnt it...my son is 9 can play classical guitar and electric and read music am proud and willing to spend money on music lessons rather than the games

Only dumb kids think the games are better. Anyone who's ever touched a real guitar before knows that the real thing is a million times more incredible.

So you dont think that these games will inspire them to pick up a real instument and create their own sound???
