I was just thinking this morning how safe my dad (WHO IS NOW 84)always made us feel...it was a warm and comforting thought!

You should also feel blessed to still have your dad. I have pleny of good childhood memories but they stop at age 14 when I lost my dad.

You are Blessed! My dad was an &%$#@&^(*&#$%#$^% and thats putting it lightly... Got to go to my happy place now..............................

I can relate mry - my grandma is 94 and makes us feel so loved just by being in her presence. Now you've done it, gonna look for tickets to go see my g/ma

I still have both of my parents...they were like the Cleavers, LOL...but lots of great memories!
